Keeping pets and people together

Money shouldn't be the reason a family gives up a pet. If you're in Central Virginia, ask us first.

Short on cat or dog food this month? Tell us what you need and we'll do our best to cover it.

Request food

Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return. Community cats get fixed, vaccinated and ear-tipped, then go back home so the colony stops growing.

Request TNVR help

Found an injured bird, rabbit or other wild animal? We carry wildlife safely to permitted rehabilitators.

For wildlife help after hours, contact a permitted wildlife rehabilitator directly at dwr.virginia.gov/wildlife/injured/rehabilitators.

Volunteer

FELT runs on volunteers. Give a few hours a month or open your home to a cat who needs one.
